“Fulfill filial piety in time.” This concept is often neglected by modern people.
“Deep Practice of Filial Piety & Mercy Concert” was held in Zhongshan Hall by Fa-Yi Chong-De, I-Kuan Tao. By performances, this concert called upon all the audience to fulfill filial piety in time.
Amid the show, Taichung Mayor Jason Hu represented President Ma Ying-jeou to award Chong-Ren Cultural and Educational Foundation the Honor of Excellent Group, received by representative Senior Master Han.
I-Kuan-Tao, originated from Chinese culture, has rooted in Taiwan for more than sixty years. It has long been reputed as one of the best representatives of inheritor and innovator of Chinese culture. Over decades, it has been active in promoting Filial Piety & glorifying the beauty of traditional Chinese Culture.
This concert integrated the performance of chorus and theater, elaborating different appreciation from different ages toward filial piety.
The story in the drama “Taiwanese Heart, Native Love”, which was performed in Taiwanese, described the leading actor who was away from his hometown and forgot his parents. This drama reminded the audience to fulfill filial piety in time.
Mayor Jason Hu attended it in person, and represented President Ma Ying-jeou to award the Honor of Excellent Group to Chong-Ren Cultural and Educational Foundation. He approved the unpublicized devotion from I-Kuan Tao to the society, spreading the good deeds of filial piety.
The concert was ended up with the singing of children, and then the children dedicated bouquets of flowers to their parents present. The conductor, Chang Jing-shing, even dedicated his bouquet to his 80-year-old mother, which displayed a warm and touching atmosphere. 「親孝行は早いうちに」という思いは日々忙しく仕事に追われる現代人にとって、時として忘れがちになってしまいます。
